Art Corner Mobile Application (UI/UX Design)

As DevUnit design team, we created the Art Corner Mobile App — a modern, user-centered mobile application concept developed for Art Corner, a company specializing in fiberglass products and custom-made artistic pieces.
The app was designed to provide users with a seamless digital shopping experience, integrating product browsing, gift card sending, QR-based product scanning, and delivery services — all within a clean, aesthetic interface aligned with Art Corner’s brand identity.

Below is an overview of the design process, covering research, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and final UI design.

Research & Requirements Gathering

We began with a deep understanding of Art Corner’s operations and target audience — customers seeking elegant, durable, and artistic fiberglass products.
Core objectives included:

  • Simplifying the process of exploring and purchasing Art Corner’s products.

  • Enabling users to send gift cards directly through the app.

  • Allowing customers to scan QR codes on physical products for instant purchase or reordering.

  • Integrating a delivery service for seamless end-to-end transactions.

We conducted user behavior analysis and benchmarking against leading e-commerce and gifting apps to identify UI/UX best practices.

Planning & Information Architecture

We structured the app around five key user flows:

  1. Home & Product Browsing – visually rich display of fiberglass products with smart filtering and categorization.

  2. Product Details & QR Scanning – scan-to-buy functionality linked to product database.

  3. Gift Card Feature – send personalized digital gift cards with custom messages.

  4. Delivery & Order Tracking – intuitive checkout and delivery tracking screens.

  5. User Profile & Wishlist – personalized experience and saved preferences.

A user journey map and site flow diagram were created to ensure minimal friction across navigation paths.

Design & Prototyping

The design phase focused on a modern, minimalistic visual style that reflects the artistic nature of Art Corner.
Using Figma, we built:

  • High-fidelity wireframes for all screens.

  • Interactive prototypes demonstrating real app flow and transitions.

  • A consistent color palette inspired by the company’s fiberglass material tones — smooth whites, glassy blues, and elegant grays.

  • Rounded icons and clean typography for a contemporary, accessible feel.

Animations and micro-interactions were added to enhance the user’s emotional connection and make the experience more dynamic.

User Testing & Feedback

We conducted prototype testing with potential users to gather usability insights.
Key improvements were made based on feedback:

  • Simplified the QR scan process with a single-tap action.

  • Streamlined checkout flow for faster purchase completion.

  • Added progress indicators for delivery and gift card confirmation.
